About
Hi! It’s your girl, Swedha Yoggi.
I’m a singer/songwriter/actress. I love writing in all its forms, especially songwriting, and I spend most of my time on my piano or guitar. I like to read, draw, dance, go out with friends, or play with my dogs when I have free time—I’m pretty much down for anything if it’s fun!
My goal with music is to help uplift others through feeling. What I mean by that is that I want you to hear my music and feel it in your soul—I want it to make you dance, I want it to cradle you when you’re crying, and I want your problems in life to seem a little bit more bearable with my music as a comfort to you.
Everything I do is for the fans and the lovely people who support me. Since I was two and could conceptualize what a pop star was, I have wanted to be one. I have dreamed of the large crowds that superstars like Michael Jackson and Ariana Grande manage to enrapture with one lyric. I want to reach that many people and more, in the hopes that I can touch each person’s life and leave it just a little bit more golden than before.
I sing in many different genres and love to experiment, but my primary genre is pop. My first album, ‘Superstar,’ is almost hyperpop, while my song ‘Do You?’ is a more mellow indie/bedroom pop track. ‘Get Over Yourself’ is my pop song drawing from country in the early 2000s, and ‘Green Eyes’ has taken us to the pop/rock sphere. I have written over 200 songs, and so many jazz, folk, and even country songs of mine remain in a notebook somewhere waiting to be released—I have something for everyone! Stick with me for the projects coming in the year ahead, and I promise you’ll find something you love.
If any of what I’ve said so far interests you, feel free to give my music a listen, sign up for email notifications about new music/merch, and follow me on my socials (linked on my homepage). I love connecting with fans online and try my best to respond to all comments—I especially love hearing what you guys have to say about my music and how you relate to it!
With love and gratitude to everyone starting this journey with me,
Swedha Yoggi
